About me

Beatriz Orozco Carratalá (1990) is a doctor by profession but has always been attracted by art, especially by the possibility of transmitting emotions through photography and painting.

Originally from the Mediterranean, her work is dominated by the influence of the light and the sea.

Attracted to know different cultures of the world, in her first exhibition called "Nomad" she has wanted to capture the essence of the people and places she has known. From South Africa, Bali, through Vietnam and the rural province of Ha Giang on the border with China, to the east coast of Australia.

"Nomad" refers to the restlessness to see and know and at the same time to the stillness and the state of calm after finding oneself in one's own journey.
